Ear Wax Removal (Double)-£70 

Ear wax removal using Microsuction from both ears. This fee includes consultation, examination, and a hearing screening test of both ears. Please oil ears daily for at least 4  days prior to an appointment with Earol - available from chemists and supermarkets.


Ear Wax Removal (Single)– £55

Ear wax removal using Microsuction from one ear. This fee includes consultation, examination, and a hearing screening test of both ears. Please oil ears daily for at least 4 days prior to an appointment with Earol - available from chemists and supermarkets.

If ear wax is unable to be removed due to it being severely impacted, you will be advised re-oil your ears, using  recommended products (Earol) for a period of time to soften the wax prior to removal. A single follow-up appointment will be offered free of charge, providing it is within 14 days of the initial consultation. 


Ear Examination with Consultation and 
Hearing Screening Test – £40

This fee covers the initial consultation and examination of both ears. If ear wax has been identified and requires removal, then the patient can decide if they wish to proceed. If the patient wishes to proceed with ear wax removal then the prices are as below. If no wax is found or the patient does not wish to proceed with ear wax removal, the total amount payable is £40. The patient may wish to take the hearing screening test, which is included in this price.


Hearing Screening (included in all services provided)

This is a 4-frequency (500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz and 4000 Hz) hearing screener that uses specific headphones to identify if there is some form of hearing impairment. The results will be shown (as a graph) and explained regarding your levels of hearing in both your left and right ear. Any patients that have results that are below the normal hearing range (0-20 dBHL), may be advised to contact a qualified audiologist for a full diagnostic audiogram.

Faringdon, Wantage and surrounding towns and villages, including, but not limited to : - Shrivenham, Watchfield, Longcot, Fernham, Highworth, Stanford in the Vale, Uffington, Grove, Bampton, Buckland, Bishopstone, Lechlade, 

I can visit outside of these areas for an additional travel charge. If you're unsure please just ask.
